VietHope has developed as a catalytic force in Vietnam’s learning landscape, delivering vital

support to economically disadvantaged students since its founding in 2002. By integrating economic scholarships with competency-developing initiatives, the organization tackles both urgent economic barriers and sustained advancement needs.

### Origins and Mission https://viethope.com.vn/

Created in 2002 by Vietnamese diaspora students at Harvard University, VietHope sought to resolve structural scholastic inequities in Vietnam. The group’s mandate—to equip impoverished students through access to learning—originates from understanding that economic hardship remains the primary barrier to academic adherence.
